Night Training

What is Night Training?

MSEF's Night Training program focuses on growing athletes' technical abilities through structured drills, skills, and gate training.


Night Training is recommended for Alpine Racers who are interested in gaining the advantage of more technical training.


This program is also recommended to any athlete from Devo or Freeride who is interested in growing their technical skiing skills.


There are one-night and two-night options.


Training happens on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, starting at 4:30 pm on Sunrise Bowl.

Who is able to participate?

Athletes from Devo, Freeride, and Alpine race are all welcome to register for our Night training program.


Athletes from other teams looking for additional race training are also welcome to register.


Special exceptions can be made for Griz Ski Team participants that are deemed ready and able to participate.

    *Those interested in training one night per week have the ability to choose which night, Tuesday or Wednesday, works best for them to attend. *

  • Program Requirements

    Athletes wanting to participate in Night Training evenings need to be in our Devo, Freeride, or Alpine Race teams or equivalent from another program. 


    Race skis are not required but encouraged. 

  • Program Dates and Times

    Night Training is Tuesday and Wednesday evenings starting on Tuesday, January 7th and runs through Wednesday, March 12th.


    Those interested in training one night per week have the ability to choose which night, Tuesday or Wednesday, works best for them to attend. 

  • Costs

    One Night option: $359


    Two Night option: $575

  • Equipment Needed

    Athletes need to have:


    1. skis (race skis not needed)

    2. boots

    3. helmet

    4. gloves

    5. jacket

    6. snow pants
